Frederick Towne Center was a proposed redevelopment of the Frederick Towne Mall property which consisted of the demolition of the old Mall and the addition of a new Super Walmart Center, an additional 40,000 s.f. of retail space and two retail pad sites.
 
This project required significant community outreach meetings in order to obtain a required rezoning and Planning & Zoning approvals. The design for this project also contained an interconnected pedestrian system, a redesigned segment of the Rock Creek Greenway, a “main street” avenue, a new Transit transfer station, as well as an interpretive walkway and public art spaces.
 
Lingg Property Consulting provided overall Project Management, Land Use Consulting, Rezoning Assistance and Expert Testimony, Land Planning Design, Approval Strategy Consulting, Site Planning production services, management of the Civil Engineering & Surveying services, and permit applications for this project.
